is looking for an EXPERIENCED Technical Training Developer for an Industrial Machinery Company in Appleton, WI.
THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE POSITION Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:

$54,275
(range is based on experience) Technical Training Developer Description:
This position is responsible for the design, development, and curation of technical training materials for both internal and external customers.
Duties include developing customer specific operator and maintenance training materials, creating curriculum for internal training sessions, tracking and reporting of specified training metrics, and acquiring all materials needed for training sessions.
This is an exempt position that may require in excess of a 40-hour work week in order to effectively carry out the listed job duties.
Some travel may be required.
Technical Training Developer Duties:
Produce training materials in multiple formats for onsite and remote customer training.
Create training video content in support of corporate digitization efforts (e.
g.
, recording, editing, uploading, integration to SharePoint) Curate training content across multiple product lines.
Assist Technical Services Manager with identifying opportunities to create and/or sell additional training products to customers.
Coordinate with technicians and engineers to continuously update and improve training documentation and procedures.
Stay up to date with current training trends to ensure the company is taking advantage of the most current technologies and techniques.
Solicit feedback from customers following training events and enact necessary changes based on that input.
Performs other appropriate duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the Technical Training Developer:
Associate or bachelor's Degree in education or media production, or equivalent experience in training development, instructional design or multi-media creation is required.
Experience with video equipment, photography, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Excellent organization and communication skills.
Mechanical aptitude with at least a basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic systems is preferred.
