Come join our fun team of talent! Position would be blended between two hotels, and would report to the Regional General Manager.
Occasional travel to 2 other hotels in the Fox Valley may be requested.
Company vehicle available for traveling in between properties if requested by management.
Hotel Maintenance The Hotel Maintenance person is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the hotel and the guestrooms that can include grounds upkeep, including trash pick up / curb appeal, minor troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on door locks, HVAC/PTAC systems, touch up painting, minor plumbing fixes etc.
Experience with pool / hot tub / water chemistry an added bonus.
General equipment maintenance preferred / mechanically inclined Responsibilities include:
-Daily walk-through of facility inspecting for safety, condition, and proper operation of equipment in all areas.
Report any problems to Supervisor.
-Inspection of Entrances and Emergency exits for damage/obstructions/conditions.
-Daily inspection of Hotel grounds - including parking areas and exterior of property- keeping all area clean and neat so we look our best for Guests.
-Respond to Guest calls for Maintenance; resolve the request in a friendly/professional manner that demonstrates how important they are to us.
-Complete work orders generated by other Departments in an efficient and timely manner.
-Complete daily Pool Inspection/testing and fill out Log sheets.
-Complete Guestroom Preventive Maintenance checklists for assigned rooms.
-Monitor/assist Contractors/Craftsmen while they are on-site acting as Hotel liaison for the safe and successful completion of job/project.
-Promote teamwork with communication and coordination with other Departments.
-Ensure compliance with Department and Hotel Standards and Policies for Hotel Condition, Guest and Associate Safety, Loss Prevention and Security, and Personal Conduct and Behavior that promotes a safe and respectful workplace.
-Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Experience:
Must be legally allowed to work in the United States and provide proof as required by Department of Homeland Security, U.
S.
Citizenship, and/or Immigration Services Form I-9.
Previous experience preferred but not required.
Ability to read and understand routine instructions, manuals, job-aids, schedules, and memos.
Ability to comply with Department standards and policies for safety and job performance.
Ability to comply with uniform and grooming standards in order to maintain a consistent professional appearance.
Ability to work with Associate in Maintenance Department, as well as other Departments, to promote a safe and respectful work environment that exceeds Guest Expectations.
Starting pay is based on experience, specifically, hotel experience.

Option for part-time may be available, but will still include every other weekend and on-call rotation.
