The work includes ensuring State and U.
S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guidelines are followed including completion of required reports and applications, management of program expenditures, completion of environmental and other reviews, providing technical assistance and monitoring of subrecipients, and serving as a liaison between the City and federal/State regulators.
The position also collaborates with various functional areas within the department, across city government, and with community partner agencies, as it relates to community development funding and programming.
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Deputy Director of Community and Economic Development.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Economic Development, Public Administration, Public Policy, Business Administration or Geography, plus two years' experience; or a combination of applicable experience and training.
