Supply Chain Planner III - Appleton, WI Where the Chemistry Happens The Dispersions & Resins business of BASF develops, produces, and markets a range of high-quality resins, additives, colorants and polymer dispersions worldwide.
These raw materials are used in formulations for coatings and paints, printing and packaging products, construction chemicals, adhesives, fiberbondings, nonwovens, and paper manufacturing.

us/dpsolutions /> As a member of the Global Supply Chain team, you will support the overall success of the Resins & Additives global business.
Your role as the Supply Chain Planner is to manage an assigned product portfolio in support of customer delivery service goals, inventory targets and optimize service costs.
Formula for Success This position is a critical planning role within the Additives team.
You will be leading the raw materials and finished goods planning activities for our Appleton production facility.
This position will also be tasked with driving effective collaboration between our production, supply chain, customer support and product management teams to meet our customer demand.
Expected roles/responsibilities for this role will include:
Create and maintain a finite production schedule based on forecast and inventory targets to meet customer demand.
Replenish distribution supply points for packaged goods.
Replenish & schedule raw materials to support finished goods production plan.
Support the scheduling and transportation logistics for raw material and finished goods.
Inventory reconciliation and cycle counts.
Dysfunctional inventory management, including heel batches, excess material, customer returns.
Effective utilization of SAP (APO/ DP&S).
Prepare & facilitate monthly Supply Review - demand, supply, inventory outlook.
Communicate and or escalate gaps in supply.
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalentIngredients for Success:
What We Look For in You Knowledge and Experience Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, chemistry, or related field 4
years' experience in operations, supply chain, business management, manufacturing, or related function preferred.
Working experience within manufacturing or material-based companies, preferably in the chemicals market.
Time management, prioritization.
Excellent communication skills - presenting at various levels of the organization High proficiency with MS office tools:
Excel, PowerPoint critical.
System tools SAP/MRP Supply chain expertise in planning, supply/demand balancing, inventory strategy, network planning preferred.
Strong people skills; working closely with operations, product management, commercial leadership Analytical skills:
ability to retrieve and analyze data quickly.
Organizational skills; managing many complex processes.
Team development and strong leadership skills.
