? POSITION SUMMARY The In-House Attorney specializes in contracts and intellectual property (IP). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of legal matters related to contracts and IP, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Core results (80%):
Contract Drafting and Review Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including but not limited to, vendor contracts, customer agreements, licensing agreements, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). Intellectual Property Management Manage all aspects of the company's intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets. Conduct trademark searches, file trademark applications, and oversee the maintenance of intellectual property rights. Compliance:
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to contracts and intellectual property. Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations and advise the business on potential implications. Legal Support:
Provide legal support and guidance to various departments within the company, including but not limited to, marketing, sales, product development, and finance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives while managing legal risks effectively. DisputeResolution Assist in the resolution of disputes related to contracts and intellectual property matters, including negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation support as needed Enterprise Value Creation (20%):
Risk Assessment and Mitigation Identify legal and business risks associated with contracts and intellectual property matters and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Provide proactive advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on legal issues impacting the company's operations and strategic objectives. Database maintenance:
Populate and maintain contracts and IP database ensuring appropriate renewals are met and key contract terms are complied with. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the bar in good standing in the relevant jurisdiction. 5
years of experience practicing law, with a focus on contracts and intellectual property. Strong understanding of contract law, intellectual property law, and relevant regulatory frameworks. Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements. Experience managing intellectual property portfolios and enforcing intellectual property rights. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Can work effectively in a team environment. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and contract management software. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with international contracts and intellectual property issues. Familiarity with data privacy and security laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). ADDITIONAL INFORMATION POSITION TYPE:

Fully onsite for the initial training period, with a hybrid remote (1 to 2 days remotely per week) option available after. This position works between the hours of 7:
00 AM and 5:
00 PM, Monday through Friday. The schedule may fluctuate and can include, but is not limited to working evenings, weekends, and holidays. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs. TRAVEL:
