Assistants will aid in all aspects of operation Support operations in becoming World Class in all aspects of the business, beginning with Safety.
Assist operator in running all jobs in accordance with customer specification, manufacturing specification, print specification, color folders and standard operating procedures Assist operator in setting up jobs according to established S.

's (standard operating conditions), and to report and follow up on any discrepancies to the supervisor Assist operator in ensuring all printed material if free of defects Ensure all jobs are run in accordance to all written specifications including manufacturing specs, customer specs, print specs, color folders and standard operating conditions Work with operator to minimize job change-over and down time Make every effort to see that all materials such as inks, stocks, cylinders, cores, and aniloxes are ready for the next job Assist and aid maintenance to get the machine back on line and productive.
While also knowing and understanding the role in product safety.
Comply with all 5S and WCM initiatives (Cross Training, moving to the work) All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU:
Previous manufacturing experience a plus, not required Previous experience in extrusion, lamination, coating, and/or rewind a plus, not required Knowledgeable and able to understand a computer and programs Possess adequate math, measurement, and reading skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good organizational and interpersonal skills Required to have visual acuity to perform visual inspection including the use of measurement devices and ability to identify and distinguish colors Ability to interact effectively and professionally with others in a team environment Job Type:
