Program Manager (Infrastructure & Building Materials)Location:
Appleton, WI No sponsorship available This role will have an in-person component and require working onsite in Appleton, WI, at least three days a weekFully or mostly remote work cannot be accommodated for this position.
Contract Duration:
18 months.
Project Scope -Data Center Move:
You will be the point person for the entire move of our data center, reporting directly to the CIOFor this position, you must bring experience working on projects that involve working with electricians, plumbers, vendors, and construction teams.
Key
Responsibilities:
Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including executives, project team members, contractors, and vendorsProvide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues.
Ensure critical milestones, deliverables, and timelines are being met.
Oversee the project budget, ensuring expenses are within allocated funds and identifying potential cost-saving measures.
Personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient project execution.
Identify potential risks to the project and develop strategies to mitigate them, such as developing contingency plans and monitoring risk factors throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors involved in the build-out, ensuring compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
Monitor quality standards and specifications, conducting regular inspections and audits.
Monitor project schedules and timelines, identifying potential delays.
Evaluate and implement project scope, schedule, or budget changes, ensuring that any adjustments are correctly documented and communicated to stakeholders.
Prepare regular progress reports and documentationfor stakeholders and senior management, including financial reports, status updates, and meeting minutes.
Must-Have:
Ability to work onsite in Appleton, WI, at least three days a week for the 18-month contract.
Experience withlarge-scale enterpriseprogram management, including managing project managers.
Senior-level experience, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Ability to lead a diverse team of professionals, including project managers, contractors, and vendors, to achieve project objectives.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to effectively convey project requirements, updates, and issues to stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to negotiate contracts, agreements, and terms with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes for the project.
Experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with large-scale construction projects, including developing contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies.
Conceptual knowledge of IT infrastructure, technologies, and systems.
