Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Portfolio Manager to join our team in the Fox Valley area.
The Residential Portfolio Manager will play a key role in overseeing the management of our residential apartment communities, ensuring operational efficiency, tenant satisfaction, and overall success.
Responsibilities:
As a Residential Portfolio Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing all aspects of residential communities to ensure they are well-maintained and meet occupancy goals.
- Conducting leasing activities, including showing units to potential tenants, negotiating leases, and drafting lease agreements.
- Maintaining positive relationships with current tenants and addressing maintenance issues promptly and effectively.
- Regularly inspecting properties to ensure compliance with company standards, local regulations, and lease agreements.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective property maintenance.
- Collaborating with other departments within the organization and ownership groups to ensure properties are compliant and aligned with clients' needs and objectives.
- Staying informed about local rental market trends and implementing strategies to maximize revenue and optimize property performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in property management, leasing, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of local rental market trends, regulations, and best practices.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
