Apparel Supervisor - Inventory Management

The Inventory Supervisor s main responsibility is to provide support for and direction to the Inventory Analysts.
The primary function of the Inventory team is to ensure proper inventory levels are available to support sales in all Fleet Farm locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for establishing the appropriate business processes and disciplines to drive best practice inventory management
  • Responsible for delivering financial objectives required for inventory management
  • Responsible for communicating to all internal and external stake holders in the Inventory Management process.
    This includes Store Support Center partners as well as Store partners
  • Responsible for managing, and developing the process to ensure, accurate and timely purchase orders that meet performance objectives and support a smooth product flow to the stores
  • Responsible to improve inventory metrics including in stock and inventory turns
  • Accountable for delivering financially responsible inventory management and cost conscious supply chain movement
  • Demonstrate the highest degree of integrity as it pertains to confidential and sensitive information


Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor s Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent years of experience preferred
  • 5
    years of related experience required
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • APICS or other forecasting certification is preferred
  • Analytical capabilities with an aptitude for problem solving and process improvement
  • Ability to establish sound process and maintain a proper control environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be flexible, organized and able to accurately work under time constraints and deadlines
  • Exceptionally strong computer skills with ability to effectively harvest and analyze data
  • Proficiency using Excel, Access, and other data tools to develop rapid and creative solutions

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
