We are looking to add a part-time Office Assistant to our amazing team! The Office Assistant has the primary responsibility of answering all incoming calls, directing customers to the appropriate colleague and welcoming visitors to our business office.
Secondarily, this role provides administrative support to all departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities will include the following:
Greet, welcome, and direct guests and visitors.
Maintain consistent clear communication with external and internal customers.
Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate personnel.
Using paging system to alert staff to calls, as needed.
Distribute documents such as purchase orders, proposals, and letters as directed.
Type envelopes, labels, and letters as directed; and assist with mailings.
Scan and file invoices or employee documents.
Create employee files.
Scan purchase orders to appropriate project management colleagues.
Conduct follow-up calls for service and/or collections.
Maintain clean and stocked reception area.
Assist HR with administrative tasks, such as filing and employee communications.
Reconcile paper timecards with system for job coding accuracy.
Support all departments with various administrative tasks as requested.
Treat every customer with respect and give attention to their concerns.
Attend and participate in quarterly safety meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of 1 year of previous reception, administrative, or related experience.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
