Role Overview As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the build-out and launch of our new Appleton location.
You will oversee all aspects of the facility's operations, from hiring and training staff to ensuring compliance with safety standards and maintaining our brand's reputation for excellence.
This is a hands-on leadership position that requires a proactive approach, unwavering determination, and a strong commitment to our core values.
Key Responsibilities Assist in the build-out of the new facility and hiring of staff Transition to full oversight of the facility after opening Adhere to and promote Midwest Shooting Center's core values:
Adaptability, Ownership, and Teamwork Operate the facility with complete ownership, reporting directly to the facility Owner Proactively identify and solve problems, demonstrating adaptability and creative problem-solving skills Foster a team-driven environment, breaking down silos and promoting a shared mission Drive personal and professional development for yourself and your team Build a strong bench of mid-level management capable of stepping into leadership roles Ensure comprehensive safety standards are met and maintained at all times Maintain the facility's NSSF 5-Star Rating and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures Manage staffing levels, hiring pipeline, and employee onboarding Uphold the brand's reputation and ensure exceptional customer service Oversee accounting functions, including daily register close-out and reconciliations Execute and enforce the completion of daily, weekly, and monthly checklists Exemplify the 14 leadership traits:
