Maintenance Manager

Our client is in succession planning mode. They need to add Plant Maintenance Manager to their staff. You will report to the Plant Production Control Manager who is presently in charge of all production and maintenance. Due to their unique production equipment they need someone with excellent maintenance skills who will learn this operation before the manager retires. Advancement opportunity to this greater role is possible. You will oversee a team of 28 mechanical and electrical trades, including two wood fired boilers. This is a top notch wood products operation. It is centrally located between Green Bay, Appleton and Wausau.

Requirements:
Bachelor's in Engineering or operations management is required with at least 5 years of experience, including production equipment maintenance.
At least 2 years overseeing maintenance staff
Experience overseeing capital equipment projects
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics (PLC) with strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills
Experience overseeing and improving preventative/predictive maintenance programs
Continuous improvement initiatives
A strong safety background
Good communication and computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs

Duties
Provide leadership in plant maintenance and safety programs
Provide cost of project and payback calculations on capital projects
Develop and coordinate the preventative/predictive maintenance, down time reporting and work order programs to maintain equipment in proper working condition
Ensures proper maintenance of facility machinery and buildings for efficient production
Ensures adequate inventories of maintenance materials, supplies and parts
Coordinate staff training in maintenance of all equipment
Works with outside vendors and engineering resources on Capital projects or repairs
Reviews maintenance logs and downtime reports for equipment failure and make necessary corrections
Maintains employee relations and adheres to company policies taking disciplinary action when necessary
Completes documentation in an efficient and timely manner
Keep Management informed of deadlines and issues on a regular basis

The company offers a base salary ranging from $80 to $100K depending on experience, bonus averaging 9%, a comprehensive benefits package and it will pay normal relocation expense if needed.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
