Internal Audit Manager, up to $100K plus bonus, $2B SEC Manufacturing Company, Appleton, WI

This position is responsible for ensuring the integrity of world-wide internal controls by providing leadership, technical expertise, business sense, and a strong desire to improve processes and controls. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, a CPA and/or MBA, strong knowledge of accounting/GAAP including expertise in all aspects of section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

- Ownership of the Company's annual assessment of world-wide internal controls over financial reporting in accordance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act including preparation of annual risk based 404 SOX and anti-fraud plan
- Ensure robust documentation of controls, processes and methodology including a risk and control matrix
- Develop and maintain a quarterly self-assessment process
- Serve as the main point of contact for the external and internal auditors work related to internal controls and monitor their progress.

Education & Experience
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance is required for this position; a CPA or MBA is preferred.
- Experience of 5 years is required for this position
- Familiarity with relevant public company compliance guidance including the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act.
- Ideal candidate would have a combination of large, multinational public company and public accounting experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
