Job Description
BASIC DESCRIPTION:
The individual will work with the Welding Engineer and assist in development of welding processes, parameters & controls, as well as weld test both existing and new machines in the support of advanced product development.

Essential Functions:
This person will perform product reviews, which will include feature, and weld performance evaluations. Other duties will include basic metallurgical analysis of welded samples, data collection from these samples, and the ability to provide detailed feedback on the completed evaluations.

MINIMUM
Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to work independently
- Must have the ability to examine welding processes from a theoretical and hands on perspective.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of the 4 most common welding processes (GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, and FCAW).
- Must be working toward an Associates Degree in Welding Technology.
