Job Description:
The Constrution Products Group is looking for a highly motivated individual for the position of Electrical Engineer focused on developing and or improving hardware for new and innovative induction heating and welding products. This position will require an individual with the skills to understand leading technologies and effectively translate business requirements into innovative hardware solutions.
Essential Functions:
Primary responsibilities include design, development, and support of industrial welding and induction heating power supplies as well as the related accessories.
Involvement in all hardware design and product development activities including; system architecture, circuit analysis/modeling/simulation, component selection, schematic capture, pcb layout planning and support, prototyping and debug, qualification testing, troubleshooting, reliability and third-party compliance testing, documentation, and engineering support throughout product launch.
Support of existing PWP products.
Diagnose and correct technical issues arising from engineering, lab, reliability and third party certification testing.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
5
years of engineering experience
Solid understanding of engineering principles
Solid problem solving skills and understanding of casual relationships
Solid understanding of standards, procedures and practices
