Maintenance Technician
Appleton, WI
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician at our facility in Appleton, Wisconsin. This plant produces quality cheeses and why products for customers around the world.
Schedule:
o Please apply only if you are available to work first, second and third shift.
o 10 hour shift
o Holiday and weekend work is required on a rotating basis.
Qualifications:
o Prior experience in the dairy or food processing equipment preferred.
o Must pass maintenance exam
o Knowledge of GMP's and OSHA is highly desirable.
o Electro-Mechanical Technology degree or Engineering related degree is desired.
o Knowledge of operator interface terminals and scada is desirable.
o Able to read and comprehend standard operating procedures.
o Participation in a team environment safely.
o Detail oriented, be quality minded.
o Able to perform at a high level in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
o Installation of motors and pumps
o Welding of stainless steel
o Maintenance of ammonia refrigeration equipment
o Boiler operation
