Automotive Electrician - Pierce Manufacturing
Job Description Kelly Services, in partnership with Pierce Manufacturing, is recruiting for Automotive Electricians! The electricians will be responsible for wiring product to meet customer standards.
SummaryInterpret electrical schematic, shop orders, and computer ordering and inventory program.
Document performance discrepancies, parts ordering and inspection recording, and time cards.
Troubleshoot based on electrical test results.
Deal with problems involving several concrete variables from standardized situations.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagrammatic form.
Work in a team environment to achieve a common goal.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities1.
Pull wires and harnesses through chassis, body or aerial unit.
2.
Perform connections on all wiring.
3.
Mount standard and optional equipment, batteries and all necessary electrical wiring.
4.
Conduct functional testing of multiple lighting, circuitry and instrument panel (essential if assigned.
)5.
Correct or adjust any identified problems (essential if assigned.
)6.
Install and connect complete AC breaker box and associated wiring load consumers.
7.
Provide cut-outs to facilitate equipment mounting.
Requirements Qualified candidates will possess the following:
-High School Diploma or GED-Technical degree or certificate in Automotive Technology, Diesel, Electro-Mechanical or related field, or experience in automotive or truck electrical repair and diagnostics-Ability to read electrical schematics required.
