Quality Control Inspector - Metal Fabrication
AZCO INC. is looking for a qualified SECOND SHIFT Metal Fabrication Quality Control Inspector at our Appleton, WI facility.
Responsible for inspection of the Metal Fabrication shop. Visually inspect and verify welding and fabricated components.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
o Responsible for the inspection of crane booms and other fabricated products.
o Responsible for in-process and final inspection of fabricated components.
o Prepare inspection documentation and required correspondence for shipment.
Supervisory
Responsibilities:
Will oversee the quality process and assist in the supervision of on-site employees to ensure quality programs and regulations are being followed.
Education and/or
Experience:
o At least three years related experience and/or training.
o Shop experience in on-site inspections and field repair alterations.
o AWS CWI certification required prior to joining the company or ability to obtain within six to nine months of employment.
o GMAW and FCAW experience desired.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
