Job Description Kelly Services, in partnership with Pierce Manufacturing, is recruiting for entry level and experienced Welders and Fabricators!The Welder position is responsible for operating welding equipment to build high quality parts, subassemblies, and finished product.
Weldments vary in type, size, and direction and are performed on a variety of production lines.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Adjust welding current to proper weld configurations- Heats and forms metal parts and components using hand tools, torch or welding equipment- Welds components in flat, vertical or overhead positions- Accurately operate and read measuring devices- Assemble and weld various metal parts together- Properly position material/parts to be welded- Train and work in various areas of production in response to production demands- Follow verbal and written work instructions including ability to read blue prints- Attention to detail necessary to adhere to quality standards- Work in both team and individual settings Requirements Qualified candidates will possess the following:
- High School Diploma or GED- Ability to follow blueprints and identify universal weld symbols- 6
months of aluminum welding experience either through education or workPreferred Qualifications Include:
